Correct. Beloit was one of 51 communities and one from Canada selected. All were featured on the website. From these the editors selected six "Editors Choice" communities. Only these six were featured in the magazine. I would assume only these six were featured in the magazine given space limitations in a print medium. In the magazine they simply stated to visit the website for the rest of the communities.

Of the six "Editors Choice" communities five were within major metropolitan areas. Chicago, New York, L.A. Dallas and Detroit.

Oh well. All the same it's wonderful to be recognized and greatly appreciate it

Hey! We just got another membership donation! Woot!

This is GREATLY appreciated. We're trying to raise funds to cover the cost of our not-for-profit application. Once this is in place we'll be in a better position to apply for what grants may be available to further benefit the neighborhood.

At one of the community meetings to discuss the Gateway project, I expressed my concern that I would no longer be able to get out into the country on Colley Road. I was told there would be a bike path. What happened to it? Barb Seguin

Don’t forget to mention that LaVaughn goes out for walks in the Winter, when most are huddled inside. She thinks of Beloit Winters as ‘late Spring’ I think. Tough North dakota stock.
